Zusammenfassung:Numerical studies were undertaken to elucidate the magnetic field ripple behavior as a function of the uniform transverse magnetic field strength in the l=2,3 polarity helical magnetic system models, that are similar to some actual heliotron\torsatron without additional longitudinal magnetic field coils, such as LHD and U-3M. The existence of vacuum magnetic surface configurations with a minimal field ripple is demonstrated.
