Digital Library of Periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Zusammenfassung: | «Ukrainian language vocabulary» by Borys Hrinchenko played a very important role in the fullest fixation of those times literary language of XIXth century and great diversity of examples of dialect language of that time Ukraine. In the article the content and semantics of vocabulary in the novel «L’uboratski», which were recorded by authors of «Ukrainian language vocabulary» are analyzed, the comparison of meanings and functioning of these lexical units with the vocabulary of modern Ukrainian language is made. It is proved that some of them are codified by modern Ukrainian literary language and became the common lexical units, the others – belong to historical fund and some of them are fixed as dialectal ones and some are not fixed in modern explanatory dictionaries. |
