An analysis of the data obtained showed some peculiarities in the hydrodynamic scheme of these dolphins and efficiency of their plumage which is attained due to relatively great areas of guiding organs and their topography. The com¬plete absence of any horizontal stabilizers may be considered as an important peculiarity of the dolphins' hydrodynamic scheme. The stabilizers role in the regime of the movement stabilization is performed by thoracic and caudal fins. Greater values of relative areas of plumage and body elongation belong to species distinctions of Delphinus delphis. |
