SGs can interact with these biomolecules to form heteroclusters of the types [SG + biomolecule + H]+ and [SG + biomolecule + K]+, the affinity of SGs for biomolecules depends on the structures of the SG carbohydrate chain and the SG aglycone, and the biomolecule nature. |
