NEAR-TO-FAR ZONE TRANSITION IN A TWO-POINT WAVE SCATTERING BY A STATISTICALLY ROUGH SURFACE
For a case of two-point wave scattering by a statistically roughsurface, the asymtotics of double integrals of oscillating functionsthat determine the time correlation function of the scatteredfield are found. For nondegenerate scattering (hessian ofphase is other than zero) the method of stationary...

For nondegenerate scattering (hessian ofphase is other than zero) the method of stationary phase hasbeen used for calculations. For degenerate scattering (hessian ofphase is zero) the combined method has been applied, namely, the method of stationary phase for one variable, and the Fraunhoferapproximation for another variable. The correlation withthe results known from literature has been established. |
