The concentration dependence of the hypersound velocity dispersion is studied in 4-methylpyridine-water solutions. Negative dispersion is experimentally observed in the region of the singular point concentration. Запропоновано новий метод для визначення величини дисперсiї швидкостi гiперзвуку. Метод заснований на вимiрi величини частотного зсуву компонент Брiллюена в спектрах свiтла, розсiяного пiд рiзними кутами. Вивчено концентрацiйну залежнiсть дисперсiї швидкостi гiперзвуку у водних розчинах 4-метилпiридину. В околi концентрацiї особливої точки експериментально виявлено негативну дисперсiю.
