Nuclear and Radiation Safety| Zusammenfassung: | In today’s globalized world, the development of sustainable and safe nuclear energy in certain countries is possible only under the condition of sustainable, persistent and successful international cooperation. Such cooperation is especially relevant for the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, as the national nuclear and radiation safety regulator of Ukraine, and the SSTC NRS, which has been providing scientific, technical, expert, consulting and analytical support to the regulator for 30 years.
The international area of SSTC NRS activities is under continuous development: cooperation with international organizations, regulators and technical support organizations, European networks and technological platforms, business partners in other countries is expanded and deepened. The areas, forms and instruments of cooperation, goals and scope of international programs and projects change and develop. The goals of the SSTC NRS international activities remain unchanged: constant growth and maintenance of a high professional level of the enterprise scientific and technical potential in order to provide the national regulator with quality services, as well as dissemination of the SSTC NRS experience through participation in international cooperation.
The article presents a brief overview of the main areas of the SSTC NRS international cooperation during 2017-2021: international technical assistance to the SNRIU; cooperation with international organizations; scientific and technical cooperation; training and educational activities. It shows the promising areas of the enterprise's actions at the international level in the period of 2022-2026. |
